Starting an entrepreneurial journey all by yourself can feel daunting and extremely overwhelming. I’ll be the first to admit that when I started Onlychild 5 years ago, I had no idea what I was doing or where to start. Many of the things I learned on the go, and the journey oftentimes felt lonely. 

Through my journey working with so many incredible women entrepreneurs, I have realized that we all hold immense power to help one another. This is where the idea for Emprender was born.

Emprender is a judgment-free, vibrant community and haven for entrepreneurs and those navigating the twists and turns of their entrepreneurial journey to learn, collaborate, and find support on the roller coaster that is entrepreneurship.

Emprender's Inaugural Gathering: Visual Branding and Design Focus

Our first gathering held last month, centered round Visual Branding and Design (because… what else, right?) In this gathering we delved deep into the journey to establish a compelling brand : Where to start? Hire a professional or take the DIY route? What's the best strategy for scalability? What type of assets do you really need to get started? These questions found their answers in a four-hour immersive experience dedicated to demystifying the art of branding your business.

Civic Wellbeing Partners Micro-grant

This event was made possible through collaboration with Civic Wellbeing Partners and the Santa Monica Bay Human Relations Council an organization offering innovative approaches to interconnected problems. Aligned with their commitment to advancing civic wellbeing, Emprender contributes to communities by fostering a stronger sense of community and connection and elevating the access to economic power of women.
